A group of people with unique shared values, behaviors and artifacts
The Experience Community is a digital-driven community designed to celebrate the stories of those who create exceptional experiences, and share ideas around generating new ones. Anyone who is interested in learning more about the Experience industry is welcome.
Community events are held online in a meetup style format where attendees can share their audio and visual to engage with other Community members. Where permitted, meetup may be in person.
The community and all meetups are free for anyone to join and participate in.
The Experience Community is open to anyone who is excited about enhancing experience for customers and employees. The Experience Community offers opportunities for growth, networking, mindshare, and much more through participation in meetup and engaging with other members of the Community.
Our Community consists of Experience professionals and leaders in many different industries, all with their own set of knowledge and expertise. This platform allows you to collaborate and build your own support network for personal and professional growth while enhancing experiences in your career.
Sign up for the community here. After you join the community, you can join chapters in order to receive updates on meetings in those chapters, and there is no limit to the number of chapters you can join.
Chapters are ‘Areas of Expertise’ or ‘Focus’ based on top interests. MeetUp events are held within each chapter and Meetups can be in-person, virtual, or a blend of both. Currently, we have Medallia User Group chapters for Medallia customers, plus five General chapters:
As the community grows, additional chapters will be added based on interest and demand.
Each chapter page has a list of upcoming events, as well as past events. You can click into the event page to learn more about what will be discussed, and you can RSVP for that MeetUp on the Event Page.
Yes, each event is unique and requires a new registration. You will receive email notifications for each event you are registered to attend.
When you log into a MeetUp, you will be asked if you want to share your audio and visual. When you approve this, you’ll be able to interact with attendees similar to Zoom.
Additionally, there is a Chat function available on the right side of the page that you can use to message all attendees, send direct messages to another attendee, or ask questions to the event hosts.
Each chapter may be run differently depending upon the Chapter Organizer; however, they are able to post a recording of the meetup after the event. If this is available, it can be added on the event page.
There is an Experience Community on Slack to continue conversations from meetups — join today to start engaging with the Community. The purpose of the Experience Community on Slack is to engage with the Community, network with peers and industry leaders, and share solutions and best practices.
Currently, meetups will be hosted in English, with the exception of MUG Portuguese and MUG Espanol. However, we welcome meetups in other languages. Should you want to host a meetup in another language or have a customer who would, please reach out to Community@medallia.com.
You can learn more about Medallia by attending one of our events & virtual experiences at medallia.com/events.
